AgNi, a silver-based composite material, is widely used in low-voltage switchgear, such as load switches and circuit breakers, due to its enhanced arc resistance and stable contact performance. Unlike traditional methods, hot extrusion creates materials with high density and toughness, allowing for further processing into wires, strips, or profiles. AgNi offers superior brazing and welding coating performance compared to AgCdO, eliminating the need for an additional brazable layer.
