Contact Assemblies

Product Highlights
Contact assemblies are core components in electrical switches, relays, and various other equipment, responsible for circuit switching and current carrying. They typically consist of contacts and contact bridges, with the contacts made of silver-based, copper-based, or other electrical contact materials that provide excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, and resistance to electrical abrasion. Their performance directly impacts the reliability, service life, and safety stability of electrical equipment, and they are widely used in industrial control, power systems, automotive electronics, and many other fields.

Product Description

Fudar Alloy offers a variety of contact and connection support processes, utilizing flexible and diverse production methods. Our typical welding and brazing technologies include resistance spot welding, resistance brazing, induction brazing, and electric furnace brazing. We have over 100 automated welding and brazing machines and utilize advanced technologies, such as a 1250KVA inverter resistance welding machine for ACB contact assembly brazing. This high-power equipment is among the most advanced in the domestic low-voltage electrical appliance industry.

Stamping Technology

  1. All products are manufactured using high-precision punch presses, with tonnage ranging from 25 to 260 tons, capable of forming raw materials of various specifications and materials.
  2. In-mold riveting includes an automatic missing riveting detection device, ensuring the stability of the product's riveting quality.
  3. In-mold threading reduces target processes and enhances production efficiency.
  4. High-speed punch presses enhance work efficiency, with speeds ranging from 250 to 500 times per minute, meeting customer order requirements.
  5. The punch presses feature soundproof covers, reducing workshop noise and providing a comfortable working environment for employees.
Welding Technology
Resistance Brazing:
  1. Concentrated heat generation: Heating only the brazed area with minimal thermal impact on the surrounding area, reducing annealing effects around the brazing zone, and preventing grain growth of the contact bridge.
  2. Simple operation, a good working environment, enabling automated production of electrical contacts.
  3. Stable brazing quality: Once welding parameters, materials, and equipment are fixed, the product's quality remains stable and is less influenced by external factors. However, resistance brazing is not suitable for welding large or complex-shaped contacts.
  4. High productivity: Rapid spot welding can reach over 500 points per minute.
  5. Excellent joint quality: Less affected by harmful gases, concentrated heat with a small heat-affected zone, limited deformation, and both spot and seam welds located internally, resulting in good surface quality.
  6. Low welding cost, with only normal power consumption.
  7. Good working conditions.
  8. Ease of Mechanization and Automation.
Induction Brazing:
  1. Fast heating speed with minimal oxidation and decarburization
  2. Allows for localized heating
  3. Energy-saving and environmentally friendly
  4. Uniform heating and precise temperature control
  5. Enables simultaneous welding of multiple parts
Riveting Technology
  1. High riveting efficiency: Manual riveting produces about 8,000 pieces per 8 hours; automatic riveting of individual parts produces about 15,000 pieces per 8 hours; in-mold riveting, with one piece per mold, produces about 50,000 pieces per 8 hours at 120-250 times per minute.
  2. Convenient operation: The in-mold riveting process is well-established, and the mold is equipped with devices for detecting missing rivets and bottom dead center, preventing damage caused by process abnormalities. Generally, one employee can manage 1 to 3 machines simultaneously.
  3. Stable quality: The entire stamping, riveting, and blanking processes are fully completed within the mold, ensuring consistent strip punching and uniform stress distribution during cold heading expansion of the rivet feet.
