In the opening remarks, Wang Fei noted that the Fun Sports Day was more than a competition. It was also an opportunity to strengthen team cohesion, enhance friendship among colleagues, and encourage a positive and energetic workplace culture.
He encouraged all participants to enjoy the games safely, compete with good sportsmanship, and carry the spirit of teamwork and perseverance into their daily work. He also expressed his hope that the Trade Union would continue to organize more engaging cultural and sports activities to enrich employees' leisure time.
Fun Games, Stronger Teamwork
This year's Fun Sports Day featured a creative team-based checkpoint challenge, including five activities: Relay Race, Charades, Memory Card Match, Cultural Ring Toss, and Retracing Fuda's Journey.
After drawing lots to determine their first checkpoint, each team quickly assigned roles, planned their strategy, and worked together to complete the challenges. The event site was soon filled with laughter, energy, and friendly competition.
Relay Race activity
In the Relay Race, participants completed a series of fun tasks, including the acupressure mat challenge, dumbbell carrying, rope skipping, sit-ups, and spinning while balancing on one leg. Their funny reactions and determined efforts brought waves of laughter and cheers from the crowd.
Charades activity Memory Card Match activity
Charades and Memory Card Match tested participants' creativity, communication, memory, and teamwork. From corporate culture topics to fun idioms and card-matching challenges, employees supported one another with gestures, hints, and enthusiastic cheers.
Cultural Ring Toss activity
Cultural Ring Toss combined luck, knowledge, and accuracy. Participants focused carefully before throwing their rings, while successful attempts and near misses both added to the joyful atmosphere.
Retracing Fuda’s Journey activity
One of the most meaningful activities was Retracing Fuda's Journey. In this challenge, four team members held the corners of a two-meter-long canvas and carefully guided a tennis ball from Fuda's starting point in 1994 toward its 2030 strategic goals. The task required close coordination, patience, and teamwork, symbolizing Fuda employees moving forward together with unity, resilience, and a shared vision for the future.
Tug-of-War competition
As the grand finale, Tug-of-War brought the atmosphere to its peak. At the sound of the whistle, participants planted their feet firmly, leaned back, and pulled with all their strength. Cheers from the sidelines filled the field with excitement, passion, and team spirit.
Awards and Closing
After an afternoon of laughter, teamwork, and spirited competition, the winners were officially announced.
In the team-based checkpoint challenge, the Marketing Center Team won first place with excellent coordination and steady performance. The General Electrical Team and the Zhejiang Weida Team received second and third place respectively.
