Liu Zhonghui emphasized that silver, which serves as both an industrial metal and a financial asset, is playing an increasingly significant role in the global economy. This year, the silver market is experiencing a historic revaluation, reaching a new high in real prices after adjusting for inflation since 1979. This trend is a natural outcome of a combination of factors, including the global economic landscape, industrial transformation, and market dynamics.

The silver industry is at a pivotal moment in history, required to acknowledge the rising demand driven by new energy sources and artificial intelligence (AI) computing power. Moreover, it must address the potential challenges posed by alternative technologies. To navigate this landscape, the industry should capitalize on the advantages of a complete domestic industrial chain while actively engaging in global resource allocation and collaboration on standards. We believe that Chinese silver companies will face various risks and challenges with increased resilience, enhanced vitality, and improved cooperation. Together, they will strive to maintain an open, stable, and efficient global silver trading system.

Wang Zhenyong emphasized that the development of the silver industry is closely tied to the transformation of Wenzhou's industries. Currently, the silver industry is quickly evolving towards new materials, financial solutions, and applications. Similarly, Wenzhou, once a major center for traditional manufacturing, is also advancing towards becoming a leading manufacturing city. This annual conference serves as an opportunity for Wenzhou to strengthen its collaboration with the silver industry and broaden its cooperative efforts.

Wang Zhenyong expressed three expectations: First, he emphasized the importance of using "innovation" to create a new blueprint for industrial upgrading collaboratively, hoping to encourage the development of new industrial applications, business formats, and models in Wenzhou. Second, he referred to "collaboration" as the foundation for establishing new competitive advantages in the industry, hoping that entrepreneurs to view Wenzhou as a key hub in the industrial chain, advocating for stronger connections between upstream and downstream sectors to build a more resilient and competitive industrial community. Third, he highlighted "cooperation" as a driving force for sharing new opportunities in this era, hoping to position Wenzhou as a starting point for collaboration, urging collective efforts to explore both domestic and international markets, achieving mutual benefits and win-win outcomes ultimately.
