On August 3, Fuda Advanced Materials Group held the closing ceremony for the fourth cohort of its Young Eagle Program at the headquarters. Chairman and President Wang Dawu joined members of the management team and the Group's 2026 graduate hires to mark the completion of the month-long training program.

Combining team-building, mentorship, company visits, and hands-on workplace training, the program was designed to help graduate hires transition from university to professional life. The closing ceremony celebrated their progress and marked the beginning of a new chapter as they prepared to take on roles across the Group.

From Knowledge to Practice: A Journey of Growth

Beginning on July 3, participants completed a five-day military-style development and team-building program at the Lucheng National Defense Education Base. Through team competitions, physical challenges, and other demanding activities, they strengthened their discipline, resilience, teamwork, and ability to perform under pressure.

The experience also gave participants a deeper understanding of Fuda's core value of "Pursuit of Excellence, Never Satisfied". By working together and pushing beyond their individual limits, they developed the mindset and working habits needed for the next stages of the program.

From July 8 to 15, the program moved into its mentorship and classroom learning stage. Company executives and leaders from across the Group's business units and corporate functions led sessions on corporate strategy, product knowledge, manufacturing processes, and production management.

Drawing on their management and industry experience, the mentors explained each topic in clear, practical terms. The sessions helped participants build a structured understanding of Fuda's strategy, operations, culture, and their future roles. The discussions also demonstrated the Group's commitment to employee development and gave participants greater confidence as they prepared for hands-on workplace training.

Participants then moved from the classroom to Fuda's production facilities as part of the "Experience Fuda" module. There, they saw how digital technologies, coordinated manufacturing processes, and intelligent operating systems are supporting the Group's continued progress in smart manufacturing.

The visits also provided a broader understanding of Fuda's history, business development, and manufacturing capabilities. From its challenging early years to 32 years of specialization in electrical contact materials, Fuda has committed to a specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative path — "1 Meter Width, 100 Meters Depth". This long-term commitment to a specialized field has been supported by continuous technological and manufacturing innovation.

Following the company tours, participants began rotational training in production workshops across different business units. They gained hands-on experience in contact-rivet production, contact-tip inspection, silver wire extrusion, and other shop-floor operations. These activities helped them develop practical skills, a strong quality mindset, an understanding of lean manufacturing, and a greater sense of responsibility.

Celebrating Progress and Innovation

At the closing ceremony, Chen Qiongqiong, Director of the Human Resources Center, opened the event with a reflection on the month-long program. A video then highlighted memorable moments from the participants' learning and development journey.

One of the highlights was the debut of the "Fuda F1" robot, designed and developed by the participants. The team representative explained the thinking behind its design and shared how they had transformed what they learned during the program into a practical innovation project.

From the "Fuda Model Ship" presented by an earlier cohort, which symbolized perseverance and legacy, to the F1 robot reflecting technological innovation, each cohort has brought new ideas to the program's final showcase. What remains unchanged is Fuda's commitment to innovation and its confidence in the potential of young talent.

Chairman Wang Dawu added a handwritten inscription to the F1 robot, giving the project further cultural and symbolic significance. More than a training outcome, the robot reflects Fuda's continued digital transformation and adoption of intelligent manufacturing technologies. It also represents the participants' creative interpretation of the company's culture and highlights the potential for closer integration between manufacturing and artificial intelligence.

He noted that the Institute would continue supporting early-career employees through opportunities to participate in R&D projects and through clearly defined career development paths. He encouraged the new employees to embrace these opportunities, accelerate their professional growth, and create value in their roles.

Preparing for the Next Chapter

During a discussion with the participants, Chairman Wang Dawu recognized the practical recommendations presented by participants in three areas: digitalization and intelligent manufacturing, shop-floor management, and corporate culture and talent development. He asked the relevant teams to evaluate viable proposals and move them toward implementation, while encouraging participants to remain involved as their ideas were assessed and implemented.

Chairman Wang Dawu noted that the closing ceremony marked the completion of one stage, but the true value of the program would be demonstrated by how participants applied what they had learned. He outlined three important shifts in their professional development:

1. From university graduates to Fuda professionals
Participants should adapt quickly to professional life, develop a strong sense of responsibility, align their personal growth with the development of their teams, and take ownership of their roles.

2. From academic credentials to practical capabilities
They should remain patient, humble, and willing to learn, applying their knowledge to solve problems, coordinate resources, and deliver results.

3. From completing tasks to creating value
They should move beyond a passive, task-oriented mindset, take a proactive approach to their work, strengthen their capabilities through practical experience, and contribute to long-term improvements in quality and efficiency.

Chairman Wang Dawu reaffirmed Fuda's belief that talent is its most valuable resource. He said the Group would continue to provide meaningful opportunities and clear development pathways for young employees who demonstrate dedication, initiative, and a willingness to innovate.

He encouraged participants to view the conclusion of the program as a new beginning. By acting with integrity, remaining focused, embracing innovation, and taking responsibility, they can grow into professionals capable of working independently and making meaningful contributions. Together, they will help advance Fuda's long-term vision of "becoming a RMB 100 billion enterprise and building a century-long Fuda".
