Swimmers Cross Banping Strait at the 20th "Fudar Cup"

First held in 2008, the event has become one of Dongtou's signature sporting events, attracting swimming enthusiasts from across China. It promotes public participation in sport and brings together local culture, sport, and tourism.

Swimmers set off from the pier and swam approximately 1.7 kilometers across the strait to Jiucaiao Beach.
